MCR Pathways Awareness – Become a Mentor

Apr 5, 2024

On Saturday 13th April at the Peterhead v Forfar Athletic match at Balmoor Stadium, MCR pathways are attending to share information in regards to their program to help young people unlock their potential, realise their skills and progress onto a positive destination.

MCR pathways have been supporting pupils at Peterhead Academy since 2018 and have already had amazing support from the community in becoming supportive mentors in the programme, however there is always a need for a mixture of people from different backgrounds, with a variety of interests as every young person is different.

Currently there are more young people waiting for mentors than MCR have mentors waiting to be matched, so if you have an hour per week, you can support a young person and have a lifetime of impact.

MCR’s vision is for all young people to experience equality of education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances.
