With children preparing to go back to school, this can be a financial burden and stressful time for many families, therefore we are launching an appeal for preloved sportswear and trainers to the bins which have the logo sticker on it. These are located:
📍Balmoor Stadium reception
📍Catto Park Astro Pitch
📍Peterhead Community Centre
📍Central Primary School
📍Buchan Giving Tree
There is a particular need for trainers / sports shoes from children’s size 10 and up to size 6 and for sports kit for ages 4 to 5, 6-7 and 8 to 9, but any donation will be gratefully received and provide a child in need with access to participate in sporting activities.
Donating preloved kit helps the environment, tonnes of wearable clothing go to landfill in the UK every year, any donation you can make reduces waste going to landfill, great for our community and our environment.
Sports Kit for all is a partnership with Peterhead FC Community Foundation (PFCCF), Peterhead Area Community Trust (PACT), Peterhead Boys Club, Peterhead Foodbank Centre, Peterhead Primary School Football Association, Buchan Girls and Ladies FC and Active Schools Aberdeenshire.
