Football Memories April

Apr 1, 2025

Football Memories is a programme run by Peterhead FC Community Foundation in partnership with Alzheimer’s Scotland to bring people together to stimulate memories and to share stories and help build positive social connections between participants.

The group is open to anyone at any stage of cognitive stages of dementia and their carers, stroke survivors, care homes patients and over 65s at high risk of loneliness.

It’s a fantastic way to make new friends and spend time in a safe environment with people going through the same experience and who also share a passion for sport.

The Football Memories group meet on the second Thursday of the month between 12:30 and 14:00 at Balmoor Stadium.  The next session is scheduled for the 10th of April 2025, the sessions are free to attend and include a hot drink and a pie/biscuit.

To register your interest in attending, please contact info@pfccf.co.uk to secure a place.
