September Football Memories group

Aug 26, 2025

Natty Porter is back with a Football Memories group in September!

Football Memories is a programme run by Peterhead FC Community Foundation in partnership with Alzheimer’s Scotland to bring people together to stimulate memories and to share stories and help build positive social connections between participants.
The group is open to anyone at any stage of cognitive stages of dementia and their carers, stroke survivors, care homes patients and over 65’s at high risk of loneliness.
It’s a fantastic way to make new friends and spend time in a safe environment with people going through the same experience and who also share a passion for sport.
To register your interest in attending, please contact info@pfccf.co.uk to secure a place.

What does Peterhead FC Community Foundation’s Football Memories involve:

Socialise over a cup of tea/coffee, while looking at memorabilia.

Memory games including naming line-ups, managers and scorers of the past.

Regular VIP visits – previous guests include Peterhead FC Legends John Sievwrightt, Jim Bain and Natty Porter.

Various activities such as watching old games or reviewing old match programmes.
If you would like to become a funding partner for the Football Memories group, please contact info@pfccf.co.uk to discuss how your support can make a real difference to our community
