Football is a powerful tool for engagement with people in the way that few other organisations can; it is part of everyday life that people can relate to and can influence the lifestyles of people in a positive way.

Key to our achieving our mission is to increase participation in football at whatever stage and enable development of players and coaches. We know we can’t achieve any of this without the passion and commitment of our partners in the community – the lifeblood of community football.

A key objective for the Foundation is with the support of the SFA Club Development Manager to achieve the SFA quality award as a Community Club.

We will provide programs to encourage people to engaging in Football whether it is recreationally in walking football, 5 a-side or adult female sessions, there will be something that enables people to improve fitness, build friendships, and have a great experience – we believe football should be enjoyed by everyone.

Peterhead FC Community Foundation is also committed to developing young footballers of all ages, gender and ability and providing them with a pathway to nurture, improve and progress to reach their potential.

Our Football Development Pathways Programme provides opportunities for boys and girls to begin or to enhance their footballing journey, to meet and play with friends, develop skills, and improve individual confidence supported by qualified coaches.

Key to our football development strategy is to develop the facilities at Catto Park to provide leading correct sizes pitches for age group development and to cover the full-size football pitch, allowing players to train in even the most adverse weather conditions.
