LEGACIES

Leave a Legacy

YOU could help Peterhead Football Club Community Foundation (PFCCF) by leaving a legacy in your will, which will support the continuous essential work to make a positive difference for future generations from Peterhead and wider Aberdeenshire.

Charitable giving is easy to set up and can consist of a share of your estate, a cash gift, a specific gift (such as an item of financial or practical value) or a gift in trust.

Why leave a legacy to PFC Community Foundation?

  • Support a cause that directly benefits your community. What better way to make a statement about your life and set an example for future generations than by supporting those people that need it most.
  • Possible tax advantages, if your estate is liable to Inheritance Tax, you could reduce the amount due by leaving a legacy to PFCCF and the community.

If including Peterhead Football Club Community Foundation in your Will, we would be grateful if you could inform us of your intentions so that we fully understand your wishes and that any specific request you propose is feasible. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence, for more information:  email info@pfccf.co.uk

Adding to your existing Will

If you have already made a Will, you can add a beneficiary to it by means of a codicil. The example wording below is to be used as a starting point for you to liaise with a solicitor.

“In addition to any legacies given in my Will I give to Peterhead Football Club Community Foundation (PFCCF) (registered charity number SCIO SCO52705, Balmoor Stadium, Balmoor Terrace, Peterhead, AB42 1EQ) the sum of £ X or a % share of my residuary estate/specific item), to be applied to Peterhead Football Club Community Foundation (PFCCF). In all other respects I confirm my Will and any other codicils to it
